Comets Development Program

Grades 6 – 9

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Comets Development Program is designed for athletes in Grades 6 – 9 who want to develop their running skills in a positive and supportive environment. Through structured training and quality coaching, athletes build confidence, improve technique, develop endurance, and establish healthy habits that support long-term athletic growth.

Athletes of all experience levels are welcome, with coaching adapted to each athlete’s ability and experience.

TRAINING OVERVIEW

  • SEASON Cross-Country: August - October Track: November - May
  • PRACTICE DAYS 3 days per week (days may vary). Monthly Schedule sent out to athletes after registration
  • LOCATION TBD
  • COMPETITIONS Athletes may sign up for meets on their own, first 2 will be covered by the club if athlete uses Comets competition singlet
